Gallupville (Schoharie County): Maureen Ann Haran 54, of Route #443 died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at her residence after a long illness.
Maureen was born November 20, 1955 in Ticonderoga, a daughter of Charles and Shirley (Stoddard) Bailey. She lived in the Crown Point area before moving to Schoharie County 20 years ago. Maureen graduated from Crown Point High School in 1973 and worked at various jobs before the onset of illness. She cherished her family most and also enjoyed gardening, flowers growing her vegetables and just being outdoors.
Survivors include her husband William H. Haran, her mother Shirley (Stoddard) Bailey of Crown Point, two sons Darren L. (Heather) Kelly of Preston Hollow and Ryan P. (Jennifer) Kelly of Central Bridge, one step-daughter Becky Manley of Bridgeport, VT, one sister Dawn (Thomas) Wranosky of Crown Point, NY, five sisters-in-law Patricia (Gary) Sage of SC, Carolyn Gordon of Port Henry, Marilyn (Chuck Dolloff) Vanderhoof of Port Henry, Barbara (Carl) Perry of SC, and Pam (Tom) Jacobs of Colorado, two brothers-in-law Glen (Linda) Haran of Port Henry and Daniel Haran, Sr. of Crown Point, seven grandchildren Olivia L., Karyn L., Darren L. Jr., Troy D., and Nicholas R. Kelly, Kristen and Thomas Manley along with several nieces and nephews. Maureen was predeceased by her father and one brother Richard Bailey.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, November 6th, 2010 at the Fairview Cemetery, Creek Road, Crown Point, NY.
